Not over yet!

Hi everybody!
The party was great! We have lots of pictures to share and videos on
their way. Both can be purchased as well. Erin, Cassie, Kim, Katie,
Brooke and Jami have all been recovering from the weekend and getting
back to our normal lives. I haven't updated anything because I've
been majorly ill (stupid, stupid strep throat!) and took a break from
all things reunion.

But we're back and there is a lot to share. Keep checking in with us!

Last Minute Party Announcements!

Hi Party People!
Some last minute things to know! Please pass this info on to your friends and classmates...

  • Food is INCLUDED in your admission price. We were able to make this happen for you all! We are serving BBQ, snacks and various other goodies, including non-alcoholic beverages for FREE.

  • Beer and wine will be flowin' too, but not for free. But our alcoholic drinks are affordable ($2 and $3)! BRING CASH for drinks and Raffle.

  • We have a ton of great raffle prizes! Bring cash so that you can buy tickets and get in on the winnings!

  • It shouldn't rain, but it may be cold. We will have heaters, but we recommend you dress warm and comfortably.

  • Once you get to the Veterans Home, signs will lead your way to the Picnic Grounds.

  • There is a pre-party at Downtown Joes Friday night (that's tomorrow evening)! There will be a rockabilly band and lots of food and fun

And if you don't know by now, the party is from 4-10pm, THIS SATURDAY, at the Veterans Home Picnic Grounds. There will be fantastic live entertainment, dancing, raffle prizes, hula hoopers, celebrity guest MC, free food, not-so-free drinks, and all your Napa High Classmates! DON'T MISS IT! El Capitan, Gerad Stemke, DJ Phil, and our own Hula Hooping Diva, Cassady Jeremias!

Ok ok ok... So you wanna know what's up with the reunion. You wanna know what your $25 is paying for. You wanna know whether it's worth it or not to go ahead and buy them tickets and show your face. Fine. Here's a little peek at some of the fun stuff we've got goin' on for you this fabulous October 7. Need we remind you that there's some real pro's workin' to make this thing great? I think you'll agree:

Entertainment Lineup

Napa's own Gerad Stemke

Stemke is a 1997 graduate of Napa high, and is coming up from Orange County just to perform for us! As of Friday, he's right in the middle of recording his first album, and hopes to have it completed and on sale soon, including at the reunion! Stemke's an awesome guitar player and singer, livin' the dream in SoCal. He's come a long way from being wrestling partners with our very own 1996 Homecoming Queen, Erin Murphy-- in the 103 weight class (tee hee!) Check out his music on myspace, www.geradstemke.com, and see us listed in his upcoming shows!

San Francisco's

A sweet, sweet band to get us groovin'... El Capitan has been a favorite of some of the reunion planners for some time. We were first introduced through former drummer, Matt Butler of Napa, who has recorded with them in the past. El Capitan has just released a new album and will soon be touring, including a stop at our lil' old reunion! Read some of the reviews pulled from their website, www.elcapitanland.com:

"Relaxed without ever tumbling into lethargy, the introspective collaboration between guitarists Ryan Henry and Christopher Connolly works as both eclectic string and pure pop." - Seattle Weekly

"These guys rock as hard as that hunk of granite they're named after." - Mission Creek Music Festival

"Spooky California mountain music--nice guitar work and harmonies from the New Folk generation." - San Francisco Folk Festival

"Backwoods savants El Capitan closed the show with a satisfying ramble through the bogs and briars of their musical versatility, meandering from hoarse, guitar-driven blues to delicate vocal harmonies, and dredging up plenty of fiddle, harmonica, banjo, and other pioneer instruments along the way." - West Coast Performer

"I never knew what a cord of wood was until El Cap defined it so eloquently on the spacey, back porch-swinging dirge "The Woodcutter's Hymnal." Don't pinch the measurements, keep an eye on the details." - SF Bay Guardian

You remember him spinnin' at Henry's in downtown Napa. Long-time Napa resident, DJ Phil!

Currently living in San Francisco, Phil's just plain cool. He'll keep us dancing long after most of Napa has gone to bed. More to come from Phil once he responds to his email!

And yes, curious readers, the hula hooper is our very own '96 grad, Cassie Jeremias!

No, she sure as hell didn't grow up thinking she'd be a professional hula hooper, but when opportunities come 'a knockin, she couldn't say no. Recently returning from Mexico where she got the nickname Hula Hula when locals spotted her hooping on the beach, (see photo, below).

Cassie's been in an instructional video, and her hoop group was featured in Portland Monthly Magazine. Plus, she's just had offers from a fitness class instructor wanting her to teach, and a filmmaker wanting to put her in a music video! Catch her moves at the reunion where and she'll have plenty of hoops to share for the un-shy/drunk, and some to purchase as well.

Honk if you like to party!

We'd like to get a head count for the party. Please send us your vote!

Are ya coming to the party?

What to wear?

Man, are we a fashion-conscious crowd or what? I didn't think this would be the hardest part of the planning, but it just may be! We've gotten more than 20 emails, mostly from gals, wondering what on earth to wear to the party. Well, like we've said, the party is outdoors and pretty casual. Dress comfortable with style, you want to feel & look good dangit! Tents and/or outdoor heating will be provided if necessary.

That said, we won't turn you away if you show up in your old prom clothes. Actually, if you still fit in your old prom stuff and want to wear it, more power to ya! Bring it on!

Most of us girls will be wearing dresses or skirts, maybe a couple will wear pants. Cocktail-type dresses are great, but keep in mind if you wanna sit, it will be on picnic tables or grass. As for shoes, I'm a boot girl myself, but heels are acceptable--dance on the asphalt pad at your own risk! I'm sayin' casual cocktail party attire, taken down a notch. For guys - jeans and t-shirt, probably not. Slacks, yes. Cords, yep. Ties, sure, if ya wanna.

SPILL IT AND WIN PRIZES!

You are fabulous! Many people who filled out surveys have been sharing their stories, and we're amazed at how differently we've all chosen to live our lives these past 10 years. We've got alums who have made families, some HUGE families, some who've traveled all over the world, some who are still in school, going back to school, and many who have chosen interesting other paths.

But — We want to hear more! We're putting a program together for the reunion that will feature alumni photos, stories, and much, much more! We're looking for contributors. Send us your story in 150 words or less telling us what you've been up to. No matter how mundane, dull, crazy or twisted it is, we want it. If you know someone you think has a good story, tell 'em to send it in! If we use it in the program, you'll get 10 raffle tickets!

Email your stories to Cassady Jeremias, writer and hulahooper extraordinaire: cjeremias at gmail.com

Sunday Breakfast

I don't know what your experience in Napa was like, but I know that for me (Kim), every time I think about 'hometown' my mind inevitably wanders to the yummy post-party Saturday morning or Sunday morning (or both) breakfast. It just seems like a staple for Napa-kin (aka, Napkins).

You go out, have a nice evening (or a wild one), sleep cozily in your bed, then wake up to the 9-10ish breakfast call round-up. You stumble down to any one of the plethora of breakfast joints that Napa has to offer to find your friends seated around a table, looking for a greasy meal and storytellin' good time. Some are hungover, some are still in pajamas, some don't even make it there.

But I know it's not just me. Because this is a small town. You look around and see ALL of the tables are filled with like-minded hungry souls. Many of the same faces from the night before.

I miss that.

And it's just one of the many things I'll be looking forward to about reunion weekend. See you all at breakfast.

Comment and share some of your favorite breakfast spots. Are there any new places to check out? Is Soscol Cafe still around? That place is fantastic!

Volunteers!

We need help! There are several volunteer positions open still, and many items/supplies needed! I sent out an email earlier this week to all people who opted to help on their survey forms. If you did not get the email, or want to help, please send an email to napahighreunion@gmail.com. I'll put you on the email list and let you know what is still needed.

Thanks!

So, who's coming to the party?

I bet you'd all like to know! I know, but I'm not telling!

But I can tell you this...the response has been AMAZING! Over 95% of the survey forms I've received have the glorious box checked off, saying that they will either definitely be at the party, or they are a maybe. Very few "no's". But overwhelming majority of yes'es!

See, this party is dependent on you guys - and if you're wondering who's going to be there, or if so-and-so will be there...you just have to SHOW UP AT THE PARTY. And if enough of you are curious about that, then you will all show up, and nobody will have to wonder if so-and-so will be there. See how that works?

Well, it's all moot (or as my friend likes to say, "it's all moo"), because enough of you are responding and participating and what not that I am SURE this is going to be a raging success. You're making it happen!

Less than a month away!

Let me encourage you to buy your tickets now! It'll save you $10, and make it easier to get through the crammed front gate on October 7th!

Friday Night Pre-Party Details!

We now have a Friday night pre-party in the works! At Downtown Joes, with a Rocakbilly band Jinx Jones & the Kingtones playing for you & your classmates. Come at 9 pm to start with appetizers. More details on their way!

A late night reunion after-party is also being coordinated. It will be put together by Kristen Techel & Anne Huffsmith and will be held at Compadres Restaurant.

Keep checking back with us for details on all THREE events!

Tickets are ONLY $25, NOT sixty dollars!

I've received a few emails about this, and I just want to unconfuse things - Tickets/Admission to the party is only $25 per person. Many people assumed that tickets were $25 in advance AND $35 at the door because I worded things a bit wonky (did I tell you all that I graduated with a degree in Linguistics? Yeah, it shows.) Sixty dollar tickets would be expensive, and that would be lame! Nope, tickets are only $25 per person and you can buy them HERE!

That is all for now. I need my coffee. :-)

Can you help us find someone?

We are STILL missing people! If you see a friend or classmate's name that is not in bold on either the 1996 Class List or the 1995 Class List then they have not turned in a survey, which means we don't know where they are! Please tell them about the party, about this website, and that we would like to hear from them! Our MySpace page gives us a general idea of how many are out there, but without the surveys, we can't be sure!

We want to find as many people as possible so that nobody gets left out!

And if you know somebody who doesn't have email access or would like us to contact them another way, we would be happy to do so. Please let us know at napahighreunion@gmail.com.
___________________________________

For all those who have already filled out surveys...Thank You!
Your responses have been very interesting at the least and downright hilarious at best! I will be compiling a few later on this week to share with you all.*

*Disclaimer: I'm only sharin' those that want to be shared. Sheesh. You all act like we went to private school! Public it up!

Quick info about the tickets...

You won't actually receive printed tickets prior to the event. Paying by October 3rd guarantees you and your guests entrance into the party, a raffle ticket for each (to be given to you at the party), a name tag, program, and party favor (TBD). Plus you save $10 per person and get into the party easy. Essentially, buying a 'ticket' puts you and your guests on a guest list and we'll have everything ready for you when you arrive! I just wanted to clarify that, in case you buy tickets and are worrying about receiving some piece of paper or printed ticket or what not. We thought about hall passes, and then we were like, nahhhhh...

Oh, and I (Kim) will be contacting you to confirm that I have you on the list within 5 days of receipt of your payment, so no worries there either!

Click on the link(s) in the top or side bars to purchase party tickets or get info/address for check payments!

Sad little blogroll...

Look at it there. In the corner. So small and forlorn. Obscured by all the cooler stuff (like survey links and party detail posts). Doesn't anybody have a MySpace page or website to share (besides Jason, Dawn and I)? Or are we just the coolest (biggest computer dorks perhaps)?

Please, email or comment and share your stuff! We want pictures from high school too! Send your digital pics (no file size limit!) to napahighreunion@gmail.com.

Also, I highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance! It's safe, secure, and you can even send in a check instead! Get Tickets Here!

We have a special announcements coming soon, regarding our celebrity MC and our DJ. Keep checking!

Napa High Reunion - Now Suitable For Work

Did you know you can subscribe to this site as a feed?

Well, what's a feed?
A 'feed' is all the content from the website, blog, etc. available on the internet without having to visit the site. There are free programs and even built-in ones (in your internet browser) that allow you to subscribe to a feed (or many feeds at once). These programs are called feed aggregators. All you need to know is this: If you want to know every time there's an update on this site (or any site that publishes a feed, which is most sites), but don't want to check the site every hour/day/week, then subscribe to the site's feed!

I use Bloglines.com as my feed aggregator. I have a free account (all you need is a username, password and email address). When I am sitting at work, coffee shop, whatever, I can check the most up-to-date reports from the New York Times, Fark.com (very, very important!), craigslist searches (I want to know what surfboards are out there the second they're listed!), and my favorite blogs and websites (Napa High Reunion at the top of my list!) I can visit 20+ websites, in one place, and only get the most recent content. It's all compiled in one clean window, black text on white background - very official looking.

So, below is the link to subscribing to the feed on bloglines, if you wish. Just thought I'd share the gem - it'll change your life (if you're into that sort of geeky thing).

Subscribe with Bloglines

Tip: If you create a Bloglines account, put the "Easy Subscribe Bookmarklet" in your internet browser taskbar. That way, anytime you visit a cool site that you want to subscribe to, you can simply click the button in your taskbar = voila! Feed added to Bloglines.

Links

Blogger seems to be a bit cranky today. It's decided that it no longer likes the 'target="_blank"' tag, which causes links to be a bit screwy. On top of that, links are wanting to open up under the blogger address - which causes a lot of fun 'Page not found's. Yay.

All links are a bit whack. I've been able to go through and fix most. If you're up to the puzzle, click away. It's kind of like Sodoku, but less fun.

- oh, and not to worry - everything is still secure and safe. It's just trickier to get there.

Payment Form Link...

should be back up and running. If you have any problems with it, please let me know at napahighreunion@gmail.com. Thanks!

For amusement purposes

Kim here...
What did we ever do before the internet? Seriously.

How did we study? Find directions to parties? Settle arguments (thanks Wikipedia). And most importantly, plan reunions! I just can't even imagine doing this all...on paper. eeeek.

This occurs to me because for the last two weeks I have been managing/updating this site, the survey form results, the payment form, the MySpace page, and the email address - all within the little spaces allotted to me at work (they call it 'lunch', but I don't have time to do this 'eating' thing they speak of). And a little bit before work (uh-hem, now), and hopefully a bit after. But when I return home tonight, the elusive 'they' (The Keepers of sacred internet) say I should have the DSL up and running. You just wait. If all goes well, I am going ramp up with the reunion brew-ha-ha. Pictures, posts, links, and party fever. They can't stop me now! Today, 5600 baud, tomorrow - the world at my keyboard.
Mwuhahahahahahahaha!!!!!
__________________________

In the meantime, please send any pictures you have our way! The #1 request from all of the surveys is to see pictures at the reunion. Of course we have some of our own - but littering the party with our five mugs might get...tiring. So PLEASE SHARE!

You can send digital pictures to napahighreunion@gmail.com, or send good 'ole film prints (remember those?) to Katie Fontana, 24442 Valencia Blvd. Apt. 2107, Valencia, CA 91355.

__________________________

If you have a blog, website, or MySpace link that you would like to share on this website, please comment here or send me an email to napahighreunion@gmail.com with your link. I'd love to get a list of 10-100 links at the bottom of the sidebar. That way you all can peruse, advertise, stalk your classmates and see what they've been up to. So far we have a few links, but we need more! Don't be shy!
__________________________

If you would like to purchase party tickets in advance (save $10 per ticket!), please do by clicking on the 'Click here' link in the blue bar (up, top of this page, by the title). The payment site is safe and secure, and managed by Paypal (you don't need a Paypal account to buy tickets however!) You can also mail a check for advance payment (same link, above).

That is all for now folks!

Calm before the storm

Things have been temporarily on hiatus as far as reunion planning is going this week. I think we all needed a milk break. We are busy, busy girls! Aside from planning the great party...we've had three of us on the move, one of us get hitched, three taking on new jobs, one selling a house, two in new relationships - and there's only five of us! Five, you ask? Why yes, we've added none other than the lovely Brooke Dunton to our reunion planning team! We have been so excited to have her help - she's been a huge asset so far! Thanks, Brooke!

But inevitably the storm will pick up and rage onward. As promised, a party announcement is coming soon. One with all the details you need to know. A list of our entertainment and prizes. Food to be shared. Special guests to be revealed. It's all coming soon!

In the meantime, fill out a Survey!

Yes, I know we sound like broken records about these surveys, but we desperately need them to continue to make this party a success. Each survey lets us know who we've found and how we can keep in touch with them. So please fill one out! Thanks!

Party Update!

Thanks to everyone who has filled out a survey - it helps tremendously with planning! If you haven't filled out a survey, please do so by clicking on the word survey now. And please pass this website and survey link along to anyone from our class.

The enthusiasm and interest in this party has been amazing! Right now, we're looking forward to an even bigger party with more faces, a fantastic venue (recently changed to accomodate more people and our bigger plans!), a growing list of awesome entertainment, stories to share and memories to make!

Plus, thanks to your many suggestions and thumbs up, we've decided to include the Class of '95, whose party last year was not a smashing success. Our new mega list of invitees will help drive costs way down for everyone, and will also mean there will be that many more recognizeable faces at the party!

So, Class of '95, welcome! And please fill out that darn survey to let us know who you are! If anyone would like to help in contacting folks in this class, we'd be glad to take on volunteers. We are also looking for a bravebored soul to crack open a 1995 yearbook and type up a list of all the '95 class members, in an Excel spreadsheet. Fun, right!?

Keep visiting us – we will be announcing ALL the goodies about the party VERY SOON!!

Oh, and again, click here to fill out a survey, if you haven't done so already. Thanks!

ATTENTION CLASS OF 95 and CLASS of 96!
Please fill out our Napa High Reunion Survey! <--- Click on 'Napa High Reunion Survey' to take you there!

We want to hear from you, even if you are not planning to attend the reunion! Please take the time to fill out our Napa High Reunion Survey. This is a way we can keep in touch with you about all things reunion (or for us to find out that you want us to stop bugging you)! Even if you have already emailed us, or you think we may already have your contact info, we would like you to fill out a survey - this is our best way of keeping track of you all! It's a hard job and your survey form will make things much easier (and more fun) for everybody!

All of the links to the Napa High Reunion Survey are secure links, so you do not need to worry about identity theft or information misuse when filling out your email address, phone number, or any other information on this form. Your personal contact information will ONLY be used for reunion planning purposes and will never be shared or made public in any way. You will see on the form that there is an option to share your answers from the fun questions on the second half (the fun part) of the form.

We look forward to hearing about the funny stories, the great memories, and good times you had in high school! Thank you!!

For an unsecure link to the survey, please click here. Use this link only if the other links are giving you problems.

Please contact Kim at napahighreunion@gmail.com regarding any issues you are having with the form. Thanks!

Cheese Zombies

Christina Wheatley (formerly Caddell) found this recipe online for cheese zombies! We thought that somebody out there should try it and see if they live up to our standards and Napa High palette. Who knows, maybe we could have some at the reunion? That would bring back the memories for sure. And maybe a tear to my eye. Oh how I miss cheese zombies!

Cheese Zombies

Ingredients
1 ounce (about 2 tbsp)
3 cups
2 pounds 8 ounces (about 5 cups)
2 ounces (about 1/4 cup)
1 tablespoon
2 ounces (1/4 cup)
3 pounds (6 cups)
Baker's yeast
Water
White flour
Sugar
Salt
Vegetable shortening
Cheddar cheese (loaf) - Use your Fav. Cheese
*Shredded cheddar or a combination of cheddar/jack cheeses.

Directions
1. Combine 1 ounce of baker's yeast with 3 cups of warm water.
2. Place 2 pounds, 8 ounces of white flour, 2 ounces of sugar, 1 tablespoon of salt and 2 ounces of vegetable shortening in a mixing bowl. (Add a "scant" of garlic in the mixture to hold edges of dough to bun pan.)
3. Add yeast and water to the mixing bowl. Beat for about 10 minutes or until the dough is of one consistency.
4. Weigh dough into 2 pound, 2 ounce hunks and let rise until the hunk about doubles in size.
5. Roll one hunk evenly into a bun pan.
6. Top with 8 slices of Cheddar cheese cut long way from the brick. (Place cheese no less than 1/4-inch from edge.)
7. Roll out another hunk of dough to almost the size of the bun pan. Place this over the cheese and press down the edges. Let rise.
8. Bake at 425 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let sit and cool. Brush top of sheet with melted butter or margarine. Cut sheet 6 by 4 inches.

24 servings

Your 411/info/digits/stats/credit card # - kidding!

Hmmm. Don't know what happened to that last post. Into the virtual void I presume.

So, thought I should say something here. Which is this...survey coming soon! This is an easy online form that has some boring questions (where are you, what is your number, yadda yadda) and some fun ones (what do you call yourself these days, what's your funniest memory from HS, on and on). We'll hope that you fill out this survey, even if you're not coming to the reunion. It'll help us track you all down and keep everybody in the loop.

I can't believe this is all happening. So danged exciting! It's great hearing from all of you already, and it's only going to pick up more and more. The emails are coming in, and pretty soon we'll be able to share some stories, high school crushes, peoples fave picks, websites and more.

You haven't heard much about the details yet, I know. We've spent most our time up to this point planning, booking, and setting up the infrastructure of this big 'ole event. But brace yourselves...because we're about to let it all out of the bag!

Lunchtime Poll

Should we invite Class of 1995 to the reunion?

Free polls from Pollhost.com

Grrrr. List woes.

I started numbering the list of graduates and correcting spellings and whatnot...and then I gave up. I even thought about putting them in alphabetical order. Until it occured to me that changing/adding people would screw up my numbering. So...until I get a second wind...

Have I still left anybody off?
Does anybody see any duplicate names?
Did I forget any names, again?

If you find one, you get a prize.
______________________________

Thanks for all your help and comments everybody!

Special thanks to Christina, who found her yearbook (I still haven't found mine - makes reunion planning tricky!) and compiled the list of corrections and additions! She rocks!

-Kim

Here's our dirt, where's yours!?

The pace is picking up again. You'll be seeing things come together. Our reunion planners have been very busy in reunion
planning and personal life! Here's what your party planners havebeen up to lately (besides putting together the rocking party on October 7th!)

Our homecoming-queen-in-drag (don't you all remember that dress!?!?), Erin Murphy, is training for an Ironman
triathlon (event to occur just weeks before our reunion - she'll be the one on crutches at the party!) She is currently living in SoCal, by the beach, and getting serious with a Baywatch hunk.

Homecoming Princess and Senior Class President, Katie Fontana, is married! This happened recently, as in last week!
Congratulations Katie!!

Cassady Jeremias, reporter, translater, professional hula-hooper, has just moved up to Portland, OR, to persue home ownership and tasty coffee.

Kim Witten finally graduated from UC Berkeley, with a degree in Linguistics. She is now working a grind in SF, but spending her free time catching waves and swimming in the bay.

So that's our dirt...we want yours! What have you been doing with yourself? Do you have a blog or website that you'd
like to share with us? We want to set up a blogroll on the right side of this blog, showcasing a list of interesting links that all of us Napa Highers can peruse through and amuse ourselves with. As soon as we collect an ample list of (20 or so) links I'll post them up on the right. You can email links to napahighreunion at gmail.com or leave them in comments here.

The List of Graduates

So here it is. Who we are. Class of 1996.
For the 1995 Class List, please click here

The names in bold represent those who have turned in a survey, regardless of whether or not they have decided to attend the party. Please encourage anybody you know whose name is NOT in bold to click HERE to fill out a survey. This is our best way to keep track of you - plus it includes options for you to let us know how you prefer to be contacted (if at all). Oh, and it's a fun survey - in a self absorbed nostalgic way. Please, we beg of you, fill out a survey!

We will be updating this list frequently, thanks to your surveys!

List of 1995 Graduates

Here is a complete list of 1995 graduates, thanks to Jami - who took the time to consult the yearbook and type up everybody's name. THANK YOU!
For a 1996 Class List, please click here

If there are any additions, typos, or changes, please leave a comment and I will correct it.

I will be highlighting the names in bold for those who have filled out a survey. This way you can see who's checked in, and call up your friends who haven't yet done so!

There are three important steps to getting yourself registered for the party:
1. Check your name on this list to see if you are present and spelled correctly.
2. Click here to be taken to a secure link to our survey.
3. Tell a classmate so they can get in on the action too!

The surveys are our main means of gathering information and tracking all 850+ of you (Class of '95 and '96). We beg you to fill one out, even if you are not attending the party. More information about the survey can be found by clicking here

You Know you are From NAPA if...

  • You've ever had to sand bag your front door.
  • You not only know what a "varietal" of wine IS, but you have a favorite one.
  • You went downtown in the winter to watch the river rise when you were a kid.
  • You've purchased a little yellow rubber ducky and cheered it on at The Duck Race.
  • You've parked your car on the top of Partrick's road and drank beers simply because there was "nothing else going on" that night.
  • You've gone to Downtown Joes and truely been SHOCKED at the cover charge. I mean, REALLY people?
  • You've been stuck driving 15 MPH because you were behind a tractor.
  • You've gone to River City and played liar's dice with Brent the bartender.
  • You've ever driven through Jameson Canyon and thought about veering off the road rather than continuing on in that damn traffic.
  • You've gone to Billco's just because you werent 21 yet and its the closest you could get to being at a bar.
  • You've felt like your whole summer was one big Chefs Market.
  • You've had to edit the word "hella" out of a school paper during the proof reading process...oops.
  • You've had one too many drunk nights walking down westwood hills.
  • When you were in High School you couldn't wait til the last Saturday of summer so you can hang out on Jefferson and chill at Cruise Night!!
  • You, at some point, hung out in the McDonalds parking lot on a Friday or Saturday night.
  • If in high school you cruised by the other high school to check out the chicks/guys at lunch
  • You've snuck into Silverado Country Club to go swimming during the dog days of summer!
  • You know the cinedome number by heart!!!!! ( everyone knows that) – 257-7700
  • When the question "What should we do tonight" has only three possible answers bowling, pool, or go to a movie.
  • Harvard on the Highway was one of your college choices.
  • You go to the big game even if you don't like football
  • You always remember where you parked your car in high school because you always parked it in the "jock" lot
  • It seems like you have dated every guy/girl in Napa more than once.
  • You cut class to go hang out at Brown's Valley Coffee Shop and smoke cloves.
  • You grew up playing hide and go seek in a vineyard!
  • Vallerga's sandwiches are still your favorite!
  • You are scared of the Rebobs.
  • At some point in your life you have sold wine, made wine, picked grapes or worked around or with wine at some point at least once. And if you haven't, your parents, spouse, friend, brother or sister has.
  • You've "left for good" three times.
  • You know what "cruise the J" means. And you've done it.
  • You still can't get over the fact that the green bridge is gone and but thank god for the underpass!
  • You remember Bel Aire Bowl, The Teen Center and Club 29.
  • You know what milk break is
  • You still have dreams about cheese zombies. and you vow to get the recipe some day
  • You've flipped off the wine train
  • You live in a town so lame that people make an email that makes fun of it
  • If while ditching 5th period, you had to hide from Martha (in her golf cart, by the cheerleaders room) on her smoke break!
  • You've fallen asleep stargazing on the picnic bench out at ALSTON park
  • You knew what High School you wanted to go to when you were 8 years old, because its where your family goes, and it started an argument about Napa vs. Vintage with your best friend, while you were in 2nd grade!
  • After 9th Grade you never ate at school because you could go "off campus"
  • You spent many a drunken nights up at the Crusher.
  • You come back to visit and think "wow, Napa is so not cutting edge" and then you end up moving back anyway.

That was fun. Anybody have anything to add?

Oh, by the way, this was a MySpace bulletin, posted by Rah-Jean-UH®. Thanks!
